Lunian Bathhouses
Location: Mount Celestia / Lunia
They say it’s hard to swing a lantern archon on Lunia without hitting some kind of holy site. While shrines and confessionals clutter up the shoreline like flies around a Dustman, on the higher slopes of Lunia these give way to bathhouses. These are places for weary travellers to stop, bathe in a crisp clean mountain stream, eat (if indeed they’re creatures which need to) and rest. It’s an exhausting business travelling in Lunia, where every road seems to go uphill. Fortunate then that bathhouses are typically low cost or even free – if a cutter is prepared to do good deed or two in return. This might be as mundane as sweeping the building or washing modesty robes, tending the nearby orchard or giving a sermon to fellow travellers. Or potentially a more onerous task like promising to deliver a message or locate a missing petitioner.
