Realm of Wenta

The Gathering is a region of the Sparkling Vast, filled with a swirl of leaves and plant matter siphoned from the Prime Material. Two things distinguish Wenta’s realm from the rest of the End. A chill appears in the nothing, first unnoticeable but eventually extremely cold as you move toward Ash. Heart’s Void has no great palace or temple—no buildings at all in fact. It is simply a vast expanse of cast-offs and left-overs from the harvest. Dry leaves spiral about, along with husks and chaff, the shells of nuts, and pips from fruit. The void around Wenta’s realm acts as an attractant, first drawing the ripeness from the harvest, and then leaving only the inedible, reflecting the emptiness of her heart. As her realm aligns with Oerth’s northern hemisphere each Winter, the weather grows chill. Wenta is served by elementals of air and vacuum, and vacuum animentals in the shape of vultures.
CURRENT CHANT: Outside Heart’s Void, however, strange beings that have not existed for millennia are slowly awakening. Gods of nothing, demipowers at best, these entities aren’t widely worshipped by anything or anyone. They lurk in the emptiness of quasi-elemental Vacuum as if embarrassed to live in a plane with a population, their slumber disturbed by the presence of even this realm of unwanted cast-offs. Most of them are nothing but names in the sorts of overcomplicated theologies favoured by monks without enough to keep them busy.

The dark of these powers is that they’re starting to stir. It seems they have a project in mind—the creation of an entire nonexistent world on the material plane. They will carefully and lovingly not bring it into existence, and laboriously not create millions of worshippers to help them grow in power. Yet power they will get, power to create other such worlds, even where more conventional worlds exist now…
