Halcamora, the empyreal lord known as the Lady of Ripe Bounty, is a vibrant and sociable guardinal who watches over orchards, gardens, and wineries. Residing in a leafy bower deep within the Forest of Whispered Longing in Amoria, she exudes the joy of growth, abundance, and community, which nourishes plant and insect life around her as she walks. Part ladybird, part humanoid, with long black antennae and wearing a dress of red petals with black spots, Halcamora’s appearance is certainly unusual amongst guardinals. Her philosophy though, is one that is shared by plenty of her peers, revolving around nurturing life and fostering societal harmony through shared prosperity and celebration. She’s particularly beloved by gardeners, vintners, and peaceful farming communities across the planes who honour her as a protector of crops and a bringer of good fortune in lean times.
Halcamora despises insect-bodied fiends like Tharzax who blight crops or spread disease, or powers of hungry swarms like Apshai, standing as a fierce defender of the natural (and supernatural) world against such corruption. Her second role, as a society figure among the empyreal lords, sees her visiting celestial palaces on other Upper Planes to strengthen bonds of fellowship, through spreading her message of finding joy in one’s purpose and through working in the fields and orchards.
