Talk like the Glassfolk
After having much trouble conversing with my triton friend Malime Wave-Friend, I decided to do some linguistic research to make sense of his curious words. Turns out, the lingo of the Inner Planes is surprisingly different from the cant of the Cage. While these bashers still speak Planar Common (albeit with distinctive accents), they’ve developed a unique dialect that has quite a few loanwords from elemental languages and other peculiar dialectisms, and they rarely translate perfectly to ears that’re accustomed to Sigil’s Cant. Here I’ve collected together the most common of their words…
— Voilá!
