Aeolaeka Eladrin

A statuesque aeolaeka eladrin

Also known as stone azata †

Who Embody the Joy of Stone Carved by Artisanal Hands

CG; CR 12 ‡

Alternate form: A whirlwind of churning pebbles

Aeolaekas (ay-oh-LAY-ka) live among earth and stone, being among the least common eladrin on Arborea, as they prefer Nidavellir and the Plane of Earth. They draw inspiration from the infinite diversity and beauty of this element, but also from its incredibly slow movement and metamorphosis. They represent the beauty of a masterfully carved statue before the work is done—chant goes they can run their strong hands over a rock and see its potential as sculpture. Aeolaekas create art that shines with an unearthly beauty.

Their alternate forms are churning streams of pebbles and dust, which can blend untraceable into background rocks. They can command rock and stone, shaping it at will or summon an avalanche of boulders. These eladrin are also able to turn themselves into stone statues, remaining perfectly motionless for as long as they want. Be warned though, for they can also turn less willing victims into statues too!

Aeolaekas are typically slow, ponderous and patient, which makes them perfect stonecutters, miners and sculptors. But they are also capable of decisive action, and will use their mighty warhammers, should the need arise.
