Sundera Bridge-Builder

Planar ramadeen paragon of redeeming communities [she/her] / LG
Where most ramadeen focus on individual redemption, Sundera pioneered the concept of community redemption—a method to steer entire settlements of wicked humanoids toward morality. Her most famous achievement was the transformation of Blackfang Gulch, a notorious goblin stronghold near the Vale of the Spine on the Outlands, which was responsible for countless raids, atrocities and war crimes.
Rather than extracting individuals, Sundera embedded herself within the community disguised as a wandering goblin mystic. Over decades, she subtly influenced their religious practices, gradually replacing their worship of Maglubiyet with reverence for forces of nature. She introduced fungal horticulture techniques that reduced constant their need for raiding, established conflict resolution systems that minimised intra-tribe violence, and gradually guided them towards trading rather than raiding.
Within a century, Blackfang Gulch had transformed into a self-sufficient community known for mortally questionable trade. Few of its members actually achieved good alignment, but the community as a whole shifted solidly into neutral territory, and incidents of random violence decreased by over eighty percent.
Sundera now leads the Collective Ascension Division of the ramadeen order, training others in her methodical approach to community transformation. Her techniques have been successfully applied to over a dozen settlements across the planes, creating pockets of neutrality or even goodness in traditionally evil regions. A true mark of success is an instance of cosmic realignment, when a burg shifts from one plane to another. Sundera’s shield bears a unique design showing stepping stones crossing a chasm, representing her philosophy of incremental improvement rather than sudden transformation.

Other Sources: Inspired by the Creature Codex [PF1e]; Jon Winter-Holt. Canonwatch: The ramadeen are a relatively obscure race of celestials from D&D 3e with no canonical lore, which the Creature Codex turned into something really cool, and I’ve expanded upon that.
