Xig-Vant, the Repulsive Constant

Xig-Vant is the embodiment of the constant expansion of the cosmos—not too fast, not too slow, but just right. This particulr member of the three xig-yao appears as a perfectly spherical, featureless orb of absolute darkness that seems to expand space around itself. The surface of Xig-Vant neither reflects light nor absorbs it—it simply appears like an absolutely dark hole in reality. Light seems to curve around it, forming a weird lens effect as the energon moves, distorting the geometry of things behind. The same thing happens with many kinds of magic, which can also be curved and repelled by the surface of the energon.

Xig-Vant exerts a. constant aura of spatial repulsion, causing all creatures and objects near it drift slowly away. The force cannot even be felt by mortals, it simply happens. Xig-Vant is utterly alien, endlessly patient, and seems to have no particular goals. It simply is—an embodiment of a strange force that pervades all of space.
