Hwhyn

The Lord of Equinals (planar equinal guardinal companion [he/him] / NG)
Portfolio: Strength, peace, unity
Realm: Elysium / Amoria / The Verdant Accord
Lord Hwhyn is a legendary equinal guardinal and one of the original Five Companions of Talisid. He’s a muscular blood, part horse, part humanoid, with sturdy legs and bright eyes. Known for his immense physical strength and unshakable courage, Hwyn was once a stalwart champion of Elysium, fighting alongside Talisid to protect the multiverse from evil. However after centuries of service he chose to retire from the Five Companions to focus on fostering peace and unity within Elysium itself. No longer an active warrior, Hwyn now dedicates his days to galloping across the skies each day with the Celtic sun power Belenus. At night, he returns to his home on Amoria, the Verdant Accord, a vast meadow filled with wildflowers and ancient oaks, where he hosts gatherings of guardinals to share stories, celebrate victories, and strengthen bonds. Despite the party atmosphere of these long warm evenings, the Hwyn himself remains relatively sober (for an equinal). He says it’s because his venerable bones aren’t what they used to be, but in truth he’s trying to set an example for his younger charges. Unusually among the boisterous equinals, Hwyn strikes a balance between raw power and gentle leadership, often emphasising the importance of restraint in the pursuit of goodness. Deep down, he believes that true heroism lies not only in battle but also in the more difficult task of building harmony and understanding in its aftermath.
