Mazludeh, the Mother of Hearth and Wall, is a demipower of balance, community, and loving sacrifice, whose influence spans both the mortal and celestial realms. She manifests as a towering serpent with a mane of figs and eggs or as a medusa-like woman with serpents for hair, and she embodies the duality of nurturing care and protective strength. Mazludeh’s origins trace back to the Age of Darkness, back when she used to be a guardinal empyreal lord. Legend has it that it was Mazludeh who united her fellow empyreal lords to form the Celestial Concordance, saving untold lives in the chaos following Earthfall on an obscure prime world called Golarion. Elevated to divinity as a matron goddess, Mazludeh is now a guardian of settlements, a steward of knowledge, and a mediator among celestials. Her philosophy emphasises the importance of empathy, trust, and cooperation in forging strong communities, teaching that leadership must be earned through service and integrity. Her worshippers honour her by building her shrines in their homes, and living harmoniously with their neighbours and the natural world.
Mazludeh’s realm in Amoria is The Garden of Seven Walls, a sanctuary where lush greenery intertwines with carefully constructed stone terraces and flowing fountains. This serene haven reflects her ideals of unity between civilisation and nature. Within its walls lies the Hall of the Concordance, where treaties are forged between Upper Planar forces, under her guidance. Her clergy—composed of architects, engineers, educators, and diplomats—serve as both spiritual guides and practical leaders in their communities. They ensure that the needs of the individual and the community are both considered when burgs are built or expanded, and keep records of practical knowledge that they want to preserve for future generations. Mazludeh’s approval is marked by subtle signs: fresh eggs left on pillows or the appearance of harmless snakes that protect homes from pests. Though gentle by nature, she fiercely opposes betrayal or exploitation within her communities, since her teaching is that trust is the cornerstone of all relationships. Through her wisdom and care, Mazludeh inspires cutters to build not just walls but bonds that endure from one generation to the next.
