Fionnghuala
Snow-Mantle, the Mistress of Swans. CG Demipower of swanmays and protection [She/Her]
Pantheon: Sylvan
Symbol: A white feather
Realm: Wandering / Seelie Court
An ascended mortal demigod, Fionnghuala (pronounced fin-ELL-uh) is a patron of rangers who protect sylvan lands from those who would despoil and destroy them. Once a human ranger from the Prime Material Plane, Fionnghuala was caught up in the final conflict between the Seelie and Unseelie Courts and met her death protecting Oberon from a terrible blow while he was already wounded. Titania rescued the ranger’s soul from the curse of the Queen of Air and Darkness by binding it to a snow-white swan’s feather, which became the symbol of the goddess when she was reborn in the Feywild. Fionnghuala’s favoured are blessed with the power to transform into swans themselves.
