The Boughs of Creation. CG Intermediate power of trees, magic, treants [He/They]

Pantheon: Sylvan

Symbol: A pair of acorns

Realm: Arborea / Arvandor / Siorghlas

A primeval god born alongside the first forests, Emmantiensien (pronounced EMM-ann-tee-ENZ-ee-an) the Treant-King is the sage of the Seelie Court, who hears the song of every bird in every tree, who feels the soil around every root. Though he rarely moves from his domain, the vast and overgrown glade called Siorghlas (pronounced SHEER-lass), he knows much of the history of the cosmos and possesses incredible magical powers that he shares with warlocks of a druidic bent. Some believe that Emmantiensien may be the spirit or incarnation of mighty Yggdrasil itself, though the god has never commented on the matter. What is known is that deep within his roots is clutched a crystal filled with arcane power from the Age Before Ages. Tiamat at the very least believes that this crystal was created by the first dragon god, Io, and she covets it both as her “birthright” and for the unfathomable magics that it contains.

When he uproots himself from Siorghlas, Emmantiensien can be found in the wandering Seelie Court giving sage advice in his slow, ponderous way, in Skerrit’s Glade in the Beastlands catching up with his old centaur friend, or in the Valley of the King of the Trees on the Outlands, rubbing branches with the high-ups of the arboreal hierarchy.
