Under the Hood
I’ve made a few under-the-hood changes to the way this old mimir works.
First and foremost, I’ve installed a new search engine. It will look similar, but hopefully you’ll find the results are ordered much more usefully, by relevance rather than page title.
Second, I’ve been playing with ‘sliders’ on the main page, to save a bit of screen real estate and make the experience for mobile users better… the googleloth tells me that half of you access the site via a desktop, and the other half on a mobile. Please drop me a line if it doesn’t work for you, or if you have any feedback.
Finally, I’ve installed a plugin that keeps track of all the 404 page not found errors, and I’ve been working my way through the most common ones to fix or redirect any broken links. Again, please drop me a line in the comments if you spot anything egregious!

PS: If you spotted the entire site getting dead-booked for an hour last Saturday, yeah, that was me trying to fix the search results and making a sodding mess of everything. Fortunately, the internet gear spirits were quick to dispel my ineptitude…
