The Blood War, the Fiends and More!

The Lower Planes of Conflict. Arguably the most dangerous planes in the Multiverse, and certainly some of the most interesting. The Three Wicked Brothers, as some call 'em, Gehenna, the Gray Waste and Carceri lie festering in the depths of philosophical evil, malevolent and corrupting at best, wickedness beyond mortal comprehension at worst.

So it's not with small trepidation that Voilá! announces his latest goal: to collect the chant on the Lower Planes. Be warned, cutters, that they're rich with darks, but richer with dangers. The Blood War, the Yugoloths, the Gehreleths, the Cruelty of Gehenna, Numbing Sadness of the Wastes, and the Bitter Spite of Carceri are all obstacles that you'll have to overcome if you choose to accept this most perilous of tasks.

The Garnish

But naturally, with great danger comes great reward. And cutter, this is the best prize you've seen yet. Thanks to the generous sponsorship of DiTerlizzi.Com, Voilá! has an original DiTerlizzi painting to give away! This fabulous portrait of the nycaloth, [as first seen on page 124 of the Planescape Monstrous Compendium I], signed by Tony DiTerlizzi, is the garnish Voilá! offers for the best piece of Lower Planar chant submitted.

These shiny silver circles function just how any self-respecting mimir-keeper would want them to -- fast and fuss-free. The whole of the Net Mimir on a CD-ROM? The authors of the pieces of chant that interest Voilá! the most will win 'em, simple as that.

What is it Voilá! wants? Chant on the following:

• New burgs, sites or realms on Gehenna, Carceri, and the Gray Waste,
• News on the Blood War in these parts -- stories or reports of past battles, the tactics used, or sites left behind in the aftermath,
• New creatures native to these planes -- if illustrated, even better! (but please think hard before submitting new yugoloths or gehreleth because they MUST fit in with the existing society and you MUST explain their unique roles in relation to other members of the race),
• Rumours, news, and stories from the planes -- who's plotting what?
• Planescapey artwork of, from, or inspired by the Lower Planes of Conflict, particularly monsters or scenes.
